How evaluation and treatment work
X-rays are only recommended when your history and exam suggest they will change your care. Digital imaging is quick and images are reviewed with you.
What to expect at your appointment
The process takes a few minutes. You will be asked about pregnancy and prior imaging beforehand.
Common questions
Will I always need X-rays?
No. Imaging is used when clinically appropriate, not as a routine requirement.
Some symptoms call for medical evaluation beyond chiropractic care — for example numbness that is spreading, loss of bladder or bowel control, unexplained weight loss, fever with back pain, or pain following serious trauma. If anything in your exam suggests another provider is needed, Dr. Homsey will tell you and help coordinate a referral.
