What it is
Neck pain can come from posture, screen time, sleep position, injury, or disc changes. Careful evaluation helps identify where the problem is coming from.
Conditions it may help with
- Stiff neck
- Whiplash
- Pain into shoulders or arms
- Tension headaches
- Cervical disc problems
How evaluation and treatment work
Care may include gentle adjustments, cervical decompression, soft-tissue work, and posture or ergonomic advice depending on your findings.
What to expect at your appointment
Your first visit includes questions about your symptoms, a range-of-motion and neurological check, and X-rays only when clinically appropriate.
Common questions
Can chiropractic help neck pain?
Many people with mechanical neck pain benefit from chiropractic care. Your exam will show whether it is a good fit for you.
Some symptoms call for medical evaluation beyond chiropractic care — for example numbness that is spreading, loss of bladder or bowel control, unexplained weight loss, fever with back pain, or pain following serious trauma. If anything in your exam suggests another provider is needed, Dr. Homsey will tell you and help coordinate a referral.
